I’m Desiree Deschenes, a senior graphic designer with 7 years of experience crafting thoughtful, effective designs across print, web, and social media. Since 2018, I’ve been designing full-time at Aragona Agency, working on everything from full-scale brand campaigns to one-off creative assets. Whether you need a polished brochure, an engaging web presence, or scroll-worthy social media graphics—I bring ideas to life with intention and impact.

What I’m All About:

Design is more than making things “look nice”—it’s about creating visuals that communicate clearly, align with your goals, and connect with your audience. I love diving into the details, solving design puzzles, and making sure every piece feels purposeful (and a little delightful).

I keep things collaborative, honest, and easygoing. No jargon, no overcomplication—just solid design and straightforward communication.

My Background

Born and raised in our nation’s capital, Ottawa, I’ve lived close to the government all my life. From a young age, I was driven to bring “boring” documents to life. I studied Graphic Design at Algonquin College (2013–2017), following Design Studies in the General Arts and Sciences program (2012–2014). Those years grounded me in the fundamentals of visual communication, branding, and the importance of crafting with intention. It’s also where I discovered my love for editorial layout—and my respect for a well-constructed grid. Since then, I’ve grown from an eager student into a confident design lead, trusted by both in-house teams and agency partners alike.

At Aragona Agency, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries—from public sector campaigns to boutique brands—delivering design that’s both visually strong and strategically sound. Over the years, I’ve led branding projects, refreshed existing identities, and helped roll out multi-channel campaigns in both print and digital spaces. I’m always learning—whether it’s a new design tool or the latest social trend—and I genuinely care about doing good work that solves problems and makes people feel something.
